Report on a Community Needs Assessment in Kildare Town

This research is the first town-wide consultation of this size. Every household in Kildare town received a questionnaire and members of the community also took part in the interview process from interviewee to interviewer.
It was led by KCEP but made possible through the work of the steering group ( KCP, KCC, HSCL, KYS, HSE and KCEP). This project was funded by Kildare County Council, Kildare Community Partnership, Department of Social and Family Affairs and Kildare Youth Services.
The research will enable the people of Kildare town to lobby decision makers for better services.
